Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the Tripsy operator that provides access to you (for example your transport organization or its authorized administrator). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Tripsy provides software for requesting and managing trips, coordinating drivers and vehicles, and operating related administrative functions. Features may vary by deployment, region, and account type. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Admin and driver accounts may only be issued by authorized personnel. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
Passenger obligations
As a passenger user, you agree to:
- Submit truthful booking details and follow local rules at pickup and drop-off points.
- Treat drivers and other users respectfully and comply with lawful instructions.
- Pay applicable fares and fees according to the pricing rules presented in the app or by your operator.
- Use location and notification permissions responsibly and keep your device software reasonably up to date.
Driver and operator obligations
Driver and operator users agree to:
- Maintain valid licenses, registrations, and insurance as required by law and operator policy.
- Use Tripsy only for lawful transport operations authorized by the deploying organization.
- Not misrepresent vehicle status, location, or availability in a fraudulent manner.
- Protect passenger privacy and use trip data solely for providing the service and complying with law.
Acceptable use
You will not, and will not permit others to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the service except as allowed by applicable law.
- Interfere with or overload infrastructure, or circumvent security or access controls.
- Upload malware, unlawful content, or materials that infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Use Tripsy for harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
Intellectual property
Tripsy, its branding, and underlying software are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the client applications for their intended purpose. No other rights are granted by implication.
Third-party services
The service may integrate maps, messaging, authentication, or analytics provided by third parties. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of integrated features may be subject to those additional terms.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tripsy does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transport safety and regulatory compliance remain the responsibility of operators and drivers; Tripsy is a software tool, not a carrier.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Tripsy nor its suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the service in the three months before the claim or (b) one hundred dollars (USD), except where limitation is prohibited by law.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Tripsy and its affiliates against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction designated by your deploying organization, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, where allowed by law.
